An Incident in Life

My whole life changed the day my brother, David, went to prison. Since that dreadful day Ive changed for the better. look back, just abouttimes I wonder if God or some supernatural being stepped in and saved me. Like I was destined for what was next.
It was like a dream. Everything was just so perfect. In crop I Aced a few tests and after school flirted with the ladies. I felt like a King. In an repetitive my dream shattered and I woke up. At exactly 3:15 my mother received a call ratting her that David had been arrested for assault and possession of deadly firearm. We were all surprised as well as worried. Well, at least I wasnt. I had this crazy thought that my brother would be out in no time. Never in a million old age would I have imagined my brother doing 4 years.
I call back so vividly how my mother cried herself to sleep. It tore my heart. I was in 8th grade and at the time I was different. You could put forward I was rebellious. You could say I was just being a teenager. I looked up to my brother not because he had a 3.5 gpa, but because he was a gang member and sublime of it.
